Build

Cabin or Tiny Home — Your Choice

Wondering whether to build a cabin or place a tiny home? Both have their advantages!

Building a cabin

  • This permanent structure will be built just the way you want it.

  • A cabin can have up to a 1,500 square foot footprint, so up to 3,000 square feet with 2 storeys.

  • Consider placing a modular home as a quicker alternative to building a cabin.

Placing a tiny home

  • Placing a tiny home is less expensive and quicker than building a cabin.

  • A tiny home is usually a maximum of 400 square feet.

  • You must be able to tow the tiny home with a regular vehicle with 24-hours’ notice (i.e. no built-ons).
