Place a tiny home
Here are the steps required to place a tiny home:
1. Get a site specific geotechnical report.
-
This will determine where the tiny home, services, and septic can be placed.
-
SCH can recommend people we’ve used.
2. Clear your site for placement of tiny home and services.
-
You can place an RV or motor home on your site while this work is ongoing.
*Note: appropriate methods for waste water disposal must be approved by the Building Committee before an RV is placed onsite.
3. Obtain permits for services and provide to SCH.
-
Permits for services are required to ensure health and safety standards, including power, water, and a septic system (a septic permit is issued by Fraser Health).
4. Install electrical supply, water and septic system.
5. Advise the Building Committee when placement of tiny home and services are complete and ready for inspection.
